ME-LIPS was not created in one moment. It grew through years of experimenting, refining, rebuilding and believing that one simple idea could become something better.

The Beginning
“What if lip color could feel more personal?”
That question became the beginning of ME-LIPS. The earliest concept explored color-changing lip balm — a product that could care for the lips while developing a pink-red tint that felt different from one person to another.
It was not yet the ME-LIPS you see today. It was the first chapter: an experiment, a direction and a reason to keep building.

Why I Kept Going
I wanted the idea to do more.
The original color-changing balm proved something important to me: personalized color could be playful, useful and beautiful.
But I kept thinking about what the product could become.
Could it move beyond the lips? Could one product simplify a routine? Could the color be buildable instead of fixed? Could two shades create more possibilities?
Those questions slowly changed the product — without changing the heart of the idea.

Building slowly does not mean standing still.
ME-LIPS has been a long-term, self-funded project built alongside work, life and everything in between.
The journey was not a straight line. There were pauses, reformulations, new manufacturers, new packaging and many decisions that sent the product in a different direction.
But I kept coming back to the same idea: create something simple, personal and useful — then keep improving it until it feels ready to carry the ME-LIPS name.
